Forsakar Waterfall – a fairytale experience in Skåne

Forsakar Waterfall, located just outside Degeberga in Skåne, is one of the region’s most charming natural gems. The waterfall may not be as high as those in northern Sweden, but here it is compensated for by a special, almost magical feeling in the dense beech forest that surrounds the ravine.

The meltwater from the ice sheet has formed a deep ravine where the Forsakarsbäcken stream forms two waterfalls with falls of 7.4 and 10.6 meters respectively. Along a marked hiking trail you can enjoy the beautiful views and the magical atmosphere.

There is also a steep path down to the bottom of the ravine for those who want to get really close, but be careful because of falling branches.

Forsakar is a perfect place for those looking for peace, beautiful nature and a unique feeling in the middle of the tranquility of the beech forest.
